CANCELED PARENTS

People often think I should have been able to depend on the education system to do something, that surely Dara Colt violated some sort of ethic's code. Maybe law enforcement? Nope they did nothing. Was GA BOE possibly negligent? It is hard to say. Where are the investigation records? Who investigated?  A lawyer suggested we get guardianship over our daughter, and force her to come home. We choose not to do that. We did not want our daughter to feel like we were holding her hostage. We never tried to force her to do things against her will. She had some thoughts about the Brittany Spears situation, and she was against that.  So as parents we are criticized no matter what choices we made. This email was sent March 3, 2021 to the principal of DeLaire High School. To be fair she did give us a call, even if she did not do anything to help us. This is the exact words, only the phone number is omitted, and the names and places are changed to protect identities. Ms. Swartz- We have reason to believe Dara Colt invited our daughter Elizabeth Barre, a former student, to live in her home. The circumstances are suspicious. The fact that she blatantly lied when confronted is very concerning. We have contacted law enforcement, they are aware of the situation. We also intend to notify the superintendent.  We are concerned for the safety and wellbeing of our daughter, and other students.  About 10 days ago this email was sent to the principal, superintendent, and even Ga State Board  DOE. No response. o to everyone who has asked me did the school do anything, why didn't they do anything. Your guess is as good as mine. Not only did they ignore us as parents, they never bothered to tell us where we could get help.
