  Estrangement has become trendy. There is no shortage of social media platforms encouraging and giving approval for young adults to become estranged from their parents. There are rules and examples of how to go no contact. Like the pied Piper of Hamlin if you play the right tune (frequency) they will fall in line or follow right along. The young are vulnerable, they are easy targets.   People are mesmerized by those trending videos, Instagram photos and those popular on  social media platforms. They are popular so people follow blindly ignoring the facts.  People want to be more like them, not lookin at the consequences of how they are hurting others or even how they are losing their self, losing their own identity. People join cults, gangs, follow drug dealers, sell their bodies for sex, no shortage of how people are convinced to change their lives, not always for the better doing things they never thought they would do.  Getting canceled is easy.
