JUST A COUPLE WEEKS LATER DARA COLTS FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES SPEW HATRED?

 It had only been a few weeks since Elizabeth had left. Dara Colt the Delaire High School teacher was evasive, and didn't communicate. My husband and I had made a Facebook page as we were seeking answers. Facebook offered free ads for the page, so I took advantage, thinking someone would know something.

Maybe people did know something and did not want to talk. Maybe they were blind and clueless and knew nothing. As parents we were an emotional wreck, we were frightened for you daughter Elizabeth. There was no shortage of kicking us when we were down. I didn't understand.

Instead of asking questions, such as why did our daughter leave so suddenly? Why did our daughter not communicate she wanted to move out of the area? Why was our daughter with a former teacher from 3 years ago? Why was Dara Colt avoiding us? Why did Dara Colt not reveal our daughter was with her and safe? No one asked questions, instead they just took it upon themselves to do everything they could to degrade us, gaslighting, spewing hateful slanderous libelous accusations. 

While there were others, two stood out among them all Lacy Hellerbent, and Sherryyll Mourse. The attempt to say that we sent our daughter an email stating we were taking the dog to a high kill shelter by Sheryyll Mourse. No such email exists. An email was sent to our daughter but that isn't what it said. How did this woman know that we sent an email, unless she was in touch with Dara Colt and/or my daughter? Instead of being truthful, she wanted to lie publicly? Why was this ignored? 

If they really believed that we were intending to take the dog to a high kill shelter, why did they not offer to come get him and take care of him? Is it because they were just spewing lies? If they believed we were feeding the birds to the cats, why did they not offer to come get them? If they believed we were so horrible they had to publicly state online why did they not ask  us if we would keep them and care for them? Could it be they wanted to lie about us? 

Then you have Lacy Hellerbent. She claimed that our daughter did not finish school, we did not have health insurance, our daughter was forced to work a menial job, we did not ever teach our daughter to drive? How many children do these women have? What makes them parenting experts? Dara Colt, how many children does she have?

Our daughter worked with her father, and you want to criticize a man for providing by saying his job is menial?  Many people don't have benefits, and you want to criticize us for that? Our daughter's therapy was expensive, that would be difficult for any family and she wanted to publicly shame us for not having health insurance during that time? 

Shall we go back in time and ask the police for all the traffic cam footage to prove our daughter did indeed drive? Oh she didn't take her learner's permit to Mrs Colt's house, that is a bit far fetched would you say? Grasping at straws? She did indeed have a learner's permit. Shall we continue? She did not finish school. Were you here? What did you expect us to do? Physically restrain her, then tie her to a desk at school? Restrain her torture her so that she would do her school work? 

 

With Mrs. Dara Colt remained silent, and those Facebook friends who were trying to appear, as if they were in good faith telling the truth, while spewing garbage about us, our daughter's parents, what conclusions were we to come to? Were they  trying to make Dara Colt appear like a saint? Were these people associated with Dara Colt really that delusional? 

Of course there were other comments by students or former students. It is important to note that I did not mention my daughter's name, nor did I mention my daughter's mental health issues. Even then, not mentioning that, no one seemed to question why our daughter was there with the teacher or if Dara Colt had ulterior motives. This is a sampling of the comments, some by Lacy Hellerbent, Sheryyll Mourse, and other FB friends of Dara Colt's. I am in the process for posting pics of this to my Abigal Barre page. Of course no one questioned if these people were possibly delivering messages for Dara Colt?
