OCT 25, 2022 EMAIL SENT TO PRINCIPAL, SUPERINTENDENT AND GA STATE BOARD NO RESPONSE IGNORED AGAIN

 Another email ignored. Not one person responded. Names changed of course to protect identity.

 To whom it may concern


We filed a complaint about an unethical teacher. You were responsible to investigate and take action. You are entrusted with the care of children to make sure that each and every teacher that teaches in a classroom acts in a professional and ethical manner. In the case of our daughter lines were crossed, and people choose to turn a blind eye. 

Anyone who knew about this and did nothing to stop these inappropriate actions is responsible either directly or indirectly. You failed to protect our daughter, you chose to do nothing. At some point the truth about what has taken place will come out. We intend to hold each and everyone who failed to take action to prevent this from happening both professionally and personally responsible.
 
Our daughter is still living with Dara Colt, the teacher teaching at DeLaire High School. She publicly declared she adopted a daughter. Our daughter is estranged, and to the best of our knowledge allegedly changed her name. You can sit back and claim our daughter is above the age of 18, that does not change the fact this relationship started the day she walked into that teacher's classroom, and look where it has led.

These sinister actions have not changed how much we love our daughter. I pity each and every one of you, hiding behind our daughter's age using it as an excuse for your inaction. A family has been destroyed. The truth will come out one day, you can't continue to hide the truth forever, pretend we never existed. Nothing could hurt us more than what you have allowed to happen to our one and only daughter.

  My husband and  I made it through the holidays, not without shedding tears. When does a mother and father stop shedding tears for their children? A mother and father always love their children no matter their age. The past two Christmases no tree in our house, no cooking on Thanksgiving, even no New Year's celebration. New Year's day is our daughter's birthday. All these holidays seem empty without our daughter.
