DID ANYONE KNOW A MIDDLE AGED COUPLE DARA AND DEAN COLT WAS PLANNING ON ADOPTING AN ADULT? I HAD NO IDEA!

 What would a middle aged couple want with a young woman? Why would a middle aged couple choose to adopt an adult? Why would they not adopt a baby or a young child? Why did Dara and Dean Colt adopt our daughter? Doesn't adoption take planning? These are questions I have asked myself many times.

Usually where adult adoptions are involved, there is money involved, someone has a will and wants to leave something behind and this is a convenient way to do so. Maybe Dara and Dean Colt are secretly wealthy and they both work to keep from being bored, and she complains teachers are not paid enough because she wants more money? Doubtful!

Other reasons for adult adoptions is when someone is unable to care for themselves, and their parents are dead, and they have no family. That does not apply here at all. Our daughter may suffer from mental illness, but she is capable of functioning. Our daughter is not incapacitated. So this reason does not apply.

I won't go into all the reasons for adult adoptions, but I can't find any good reason why our daughter after living with them less than a year was adopted by them and changed her name. The only reason I can think of is they wish to control our daughter. Or some evil sick twisted plot to destroy our family? 

Maybe our daughter doesn't realize exactly what this adoption has done. Yes, it broke our hearts, how could our daughter that we spent 18 years with do this? There was no reason for an adoption as she is a free adult. I get she was upset with us moving and she liked the area, and didn't want to switch schools., But to trade your parents for a childless middle aged couple like a worn out object?

Then Dara and Dean Colt, no children of their own. What a way to gain a daughter, and gain control over her life. She does suffer mental illness, and is vulnerable. Strange how our daughter wanted higher and higher doses of medication. If you keep someone drugged legally with mental health meds you can control them. We didn't want that for our daughter.

I pointed out the fact Dara Colt had no children of her own from the beginning. No one listened. But what a perfectly legal way to get a child by destroying a family. Our hearts are broken, but our body, mind and soul is still whole. 

 Dara and Dean Colt may think they have control of the situation, but do they really? This adoption is a sham, nothing more than an imaginary family, a charade. It is built on lies and deceit. One day the truth will be discovered, and justice will be served. 

So I ask again what does that middle aged couple want with our daughter? They are strangers to us other than her being our daughter's former teacher. Is this some sort of revenge by some unseen enemy they have collaborated with to destroy us? How can two people be more evil than Dara and Dean Colt? 

Why did the Running County Sheriff's Department use our daughter's age as an excuse to do their job? Why did the Georgia Department of Education use our daughter's age as an excuse to not do their job? Could they not see the methods seemed eerily similar to those used by human traffickers? 

A decent human would have contacted us to let us know our daughter was alive safe and well. Did Dara and Dean Colt? Nope. A decent human would have tried to help reunite a family. Did Dara and Dean Colt? Nope. What they did was adopt our daughter and change her name. The world may be fooled by their charades but they will never fool me. 

It is doubtful they are being honest to friends, family and associates. The truth will be revealed. Our daughter has a family. We are right here alive and well. We haven't gone anywhere. Our family is destroyed by their actions. Our family is no longer whole. All those responsible will be held accountable and justice will be served, even if that is when they face God and their souls burn in hell.
