CANCELED PARENTS

 Time to wake up world. See past the narrow minded accusations of estranged adult children. No one is talking about the emotional abuse parents are experiencing. How adult children have turned their backs on their parents and pretend they don't exist. No one is admitting how malicious estrangement is, the never ending pain being caused to parents.  Social media influencers are out there criticizing parents. There is no shortage of crafty videos, blogs and social media posts labeling parents as toxic, even those without proper credentials labeling parents narcissist, and cruel abusive parents.  Estranged adult children are claiming they were traumatized as children because they had to do chores, didn't get their ears pierced when they wanted, wear the latest fashion trends as teens, go to the high school of their choice, drive the best car of their choice, live in the best house, parents not working the most glamorous job. They say anything they can to criticize the parents.   T

  Estrangement has become trendy. There is no shortage of social media platforms encouraging and giving approval for young adults to become estranged from their parents. There are rules and examples of how to go no contact. Like the pied Piper of Hamlin if you play the right tune (frequency) they will fall in line or follow right along. The young are vulnerable, they are easy targets.   People are mesmerized by those trending videos, Instagram photos and those popular on  social media platforms. They are popular so people follow blindly ignoring the facts.  People want to be more like them, not lookin at the consequences of how they are hurting others or even how they are losing their self, losing their own identity. People join cults, gangs, follow drug dealers, sell their bodies for sex, no shortage of how people are convinced to change their lives, not always for the better doing things they never thought they would do.  Getting canceled is easy. Cancelled parents are everywhere! Chances are you know someone who is estranged from their family. Parents are getting canceled everyday, but no one is talking about it. Why would they? It is a devastatingly painful experience.  I am a cancelled parent. When I reveal this secret people are shocked, they don't understand. I get mixed reactions. Many ask why and how this could happen. Many ask why has law enforcement, Ga Board of Education, principal of the DeLaire High school , Superintendent of Running County Schools have not done anything. They all hide behind the cloak of my daughter's age, legally she is an adult.  In my opinion my daughter had an inappropriate relationship with a former high school teacher Dara Colt. That relationship started the day my daughter stepped foot in Dara Colt's classroom. We moved 4 hours away, this teacher had no business having a relationship behind our backs with our daughter.
