WHAT IS GOING ON IN GA? WHAT IS RUNNING COUNTY HIDING? WHY DOES NO ONE QUESTION A MOTHERLESS TEACHER DARA COLT ADOPTING OUR ADULT DAUGHTER?

 When our daughter first left we started a Facebook page. The page was started after we found out where our daughter was.  When we first found out our daughter was at Delaire High School teacher Dara Colt's home. We were shocked we did not understand. We wondered what people would think. This was weird, it made no sense. Was there anyone who would be willing to talk to our daughter and tell her we love  and miss her? 

We were searching for answers. We were confused as to why our daughter just up and left. We were confused as to why a former high school teacher let us worry with despair about our daughter, why she wanted to hide our daughter. Why would a teacher of all people do such a thing? 

We asked for prayers for our daughter. We said we missed her, that her pets missed her. We said we love her. It did not make sense that our daughter would just up and leave us, and leave her birds, her puppy and even her cat. Elizabeth loved them she loved us.

I was in for a rude awakening. I was called a piece of shit, crazy, criticized, harassed, slandered. There was no shortage of those defending Dara Colt. Would it appear that Dara Colt  had a small cult following that thought she was this innocent woman who could never do anything wrong? Many of these people gaslighting and slandering us as parents were Dara Colt's Facebook friends.

 The name of the page was "Where's My Daughter? The name changed several times. We didn't mention who the teacher was. We didn't mention our daughter's mental health issues, or her past suicide attempts. We thought one person would question why a teacher would have a former student in her home and hide this from her parents. We thought someone from the area would question the distance. Realize something about the situation wasn't right?

I thought if people knew my daughter was there nothing harmful could happen to her. Maybe someone would realize who my daughter was and make sure she was safe. We love our daughter and we wanted her to return home. 

I questioned why my daughter would  leave home out of the blue. I questioned why my daughter would leave her birds, leave her puppy, leave her cat? This made no sense, something just wasn't right. This didn't seem like something Elizabeth would do without someone influencing her. Did anyone question this? 

 Sheryyll Mourse on Dara Colt's Facebook friend list claimed that I threatened to take the dog to a high kill shelter.  Sheryyll Mourse was quick to cast me as a horrible evil person and say untrue negative things about us.  Lacy Hellerbent another one of Dara Colt's facebook friends even claimed we forced our daughter to work a menial job in the family business. Criticizing a man for working a job providing for his family? Criticize that she worked? We never forced our daughter to do anything. We gave her freedom, more so than we had as teens. The insults and libelous comments were never ending. It was brutal. Kicking us when we were down.

These people were claiming to be kind, compassionate elsewhere, yet they came to our Facebook page showing everything except kindness and compassion. One even bragged about harassing us. There were many laugh s instead of likes when we expressed our sorrow. Were these people hypocrites? They came to our Facebook page to destroy us.  Why? We deleted the comments and blocked these people. Our voice was silenced. 

We were criticized for making the page, you name it they kept finding ways to criticize us.  So be it. Nothing in this world will ever hurt worse than the fact our daughter left. All the people who were in a position to do something and choose not to. Seems so easy for no one to help us since we live 4 hours away. 

The Sheriff's Department, they had the chance to be kind and compassionate. Instead they treated us horribly for driving 4 hours to try to see our daughter. The deputy accused us of harassment for wanting to make sure our daughter was alive, safe and healthy. That one deputy did anyway, why did they send him?  Why was he siding with Dara Colt and her husband Dean Colt?  Does he know Dara Colt and Dean Colt personally?

Running County School System? What is going on there? Corruption? Are they running a cult of some kind? Dara Colt works there? Dara Colt's husband Dean Colt works there? Our daughter Elizabeth works there? ARE Schools woke enough yet? Is Delaire High so woke that they allow teachers to groom kids and become their parents? Why did the Running County School System not do anything? 

Why is everyone so narrow minded? Why is everyone defending Dara Colt? We are not perfect parents, we are flawed. We can only do our best. We deserve better than this! The Running County School system decided to ignore our concerns. Some Sheriff's Department deputy decided to treat us horribly for wanting to see our daughter, wanting to ask if she was doing alright? Why? Does he know Dara Colt and Dean Colt personally? What is going on?

Who in Running  County GA has reminded our daughter that she has parents that love her and miss her? Anyone? Our hands are tied. There are no resources to help us reunite with our daughter. The resources we reached out to slammed doors in our faces. Dara Colt the popular teacher no one questions what were her motives?

Did Dara Colt take advantage of a troubled teen? How appropriate is it for a teacher to adopt a former student from out of town? Where we as  parents are far away and no one can see or hear our side? Did Dara Colt want a daughter so badly she would go to these extremes? We live far away easy to keep us away from prying eyes? Easy to hide that we are Elizabeth's real parents? Easy to hide facts?

Is there something in common all these people have who have turned a blind eye? Is there something in common all these people have who keep turning a blind eye slamming doors in our faces? What could that be? Political affiliation? The School System? Does the probate judge who signed the paperwork for the alleged adoption have any connection? The lawyer who wrote the letter to us does he have any connection? Dara Colt has no children of her own, and adopted our adult daughter? No one questions this adult adoption? Was their an adoption? Did Dara Colt claim to adopt a daughter? Did our daughter's name change?

What is a parent to think? What conclusion is a parent to have? What is a parent to do? Everyone wants us to be silent? Why is that? Is someone hiding something? Does this not seem strange at all? First the teacher hides our daughter from us? Next thing you know she adopted her? All while we are threatened should we attempt to visit our daughter. 

We love our daughter. We miss our daughter. We want to be reunited with our daughter. We are her parents. That can never be erased by any name or a stroke of anyone's pen. Maybe one day Elizabeth will realize this. Through all this we believe in her.  We believe our beautiful daughter Elizabeth will open her eyes, get out of the fog and return to her real true parents. We are the parents who never gave up on her even through all this, we love her. We are the parents who believe in her. We are the parents who will always be here for our daughter!
