CANCELED PARENTS

 Back in March of 2021 when the first FB page was started, one of Dara Colt's FB friends Lacy Hellerbent posted something odd. She stated she took in a troubled young lady. My friend asked if this was some fettish of they had, taking in troubled young ladies and keeping them from their families? I would hope not. These days you never know, weird stuff happens all the time. . My friend, she gets angry, like me she doesn't understand how this could have happened . While we are blocked from Dara Colt's Twitter and FB, I am curious. My friend ,.  A while back a friend told me that I must check her twitter. and there it was a tweet declaring she celebrated adopting a daughter.  How could this happen? I did not want to believe it. I still can't believe it. It hurts to my very core. When I think about it it breaks my heart my eyes tear up, I choke, I feel as if I will die. How could our daughter do this to us? Why does she hate us so much? we sit here and long for her day afte

 Would it be suspicious I were a teacher had a secret relationship with a former student who moved 4 hours away behind her parents back?  If I were a teacher and she moved in with me 3 years later after she turns 18, could you please look the other way?  If I were a teacher and ignore the parents when they ask about their daughter I could not have any ulterior motive could I?  If my husband and I suddenly adopt an adult daughter and change her name behind the parents back this would be okay if I were a teacher? Would you trust me to teach your kid if I did this?  Would you mind if I just kindly threaten to have the parents put in jail should they step on my property to attempt to visit their daughter again if I were a teacher?  Oh and please don't ever think that I could have ever possibly violated any ethics if I were a teacher after all I did wait until after she turned 18 to let her live with with me adopt her and change her name right?  Oh and please if I were a

 When our daughter first left we started a Facebook page. The page was started after we found out where our daughter was.  When we first found out our daughter was at Delaire High School teacher Dara Colt's home. We were shocked we did not understand. We wondered what people would think. This was weird, it made no sense. Was there anyone who would be willing to talk to our daughter and tell her we love  and miss her?  We were searching for answers. We were confused as to why our daughter just up and left. We were confused as to why a former high school teacher let us worry with despair about our daughter, why she wanted to hide our daughter. Why would a teacher of all people do such a thing?  We asked for prayers for our daughter. We said we missed her, that her pets missed her. We said we love her. It did not make sense that our daughter would just up and leave us, and leave her birds, her puppy and even her cat. Elizabeth loved them she loved us. I was in for a rude awakening. I

  Estrangement has become trendy. There is no shortage of social media platforms encouraging and giving approval for young adults to become estranged from their parents. There are rules and examples of how to go no contact. Like the pied Piper of Hamlin if you play the right tune (frequency) they will fall in line or follow right along. The young are vulnerable, they are easy targets.   People are mesmerized by those trending videos, Instagram photos and those popular on  social media platforms. They are popular so people follow blindly ignoring the facts.  People want to be more like them, not lookin at the consequences of how they are hurting others or even how they are losing their self, losing their own identity. People join cults, gangs, follow drug dealers, sell their bodies for sex, no shortage of how people are convinced to change their lives, not always for the better doing things they never thought they would do.  Getting canceled is easy. Anyone not in agreement with someone

 We reached out to Dara Colt many times, we sent many emails that went unanswered. We didn't understand we considered teachers to be trustworthy, honest, dependable. Surely she would care enough to reunite us with our daughter, reassure us, ease our minds? She didn't respond to us except for the one evasive email. We were left bewildered, we could not figure out why this was happening.  We have sent emails to our daughter, none have been answered. We have sent gifts, not knowing if they have been opened. We sent birthday cake, ice cream. We can't call or text our daughter,  no one has provided us with Elizabeth's new phone number. Our daughter either removed the SIM card, or threw her phone away she once had, who knows what happened to the phone?  Certainly not us. After all this time we still pay the bill in hopes she will turn the phone on again. We tried to reach out, but Elizabeth didn't respond. During the summer of 2021 we saw a picture of our daughter Elizabe
