CANCELED PARENTS

  My husband and  I made it through the holidays, not without shedding tears. When does a mother and father stop shedding tears for their children? A mother and father always love their children no matter their age. The past two Christmases no tree in our house, no cooking on Thanksgiving, even no New Year's celebration. New Year's day is our daughter's birthday. All these holidays seem empty without our daughter. We do have two boys that we love, but that doesn't stop us from missing our daughter.  So I was curious about what the teacher Dara Colt had been putting out online. Did I ever get a surprise? It appears there may be another relationship she possibly destroyed. It is rumored she destroyed a marriage, and cheats on her husband with some sort of distance relationship.  What would a middle aged couple want with a young woman? Why would a middle aged couple choose to adopt an adult? Why would they not adopt a baby or a young child? Why did Dara and Dean Colt adopt our daughter? Doesn't adoption take planning? These are questions I have asked myself many times. Usually where adult adoptions are involved, there is money involved, someone has a will and wants to leave something behind and this is a convenient way to do so. Maybe Dara and Dean Colt are secretly wealthy and they both work to keep from being bored, and she complains teachers are not paid enough because she wants more money? Doubtful! Other reasons for adult adoptions is when someone is unable to care for themselves, and their parents are dead, and they have no family. That does not apply here at all. Our daughter may suffer from mental illness, but she is capable of functioning. Our daughter is not incapacitated. So this reason does not apply. I won't go into all the reasons for adu

We all want things to be easy that make us uncomfortable. No one wants to put up a fight, it can be difficult to stand up for what we believe in and know is right and just. Loving someone and wanting someone in your life should be easy. Only it's not. Too many outside forces can break your shield, tear you apart. I am not the only mother who grieves for an estranged daughter. The pain is very real. Many mothers attempt suicide because the main is so unbearable they no longer want to live. I live with that unbearable pain daily.  I have often told my husband that drugs or alcohol to distort my thinking would be easier. I could get a controlled substance to take away my ability to feel emotion. I could find soem prescription drugs, to take to block my emotions, so I would no longer have a care in the world. Another option is to turn my back on my daughter. I could be cold heartless and cruel and say good riddance. I could say what a waste of almost 19 years of my life. I could compla

 Is human trafficking legal? Would you be able to trust the government to help you as a parent of an adult child or would they turn a blind eye? Would you be able to get anyone to help you as a parent if someone was grooming your adult child?  If your adult child joined a cult, most likely nothing would be done, unless the parent can prove something illegal is happening. It is up to the parent as the police usually just shrug their shoulders, and tell parents they're an adult. Everyone turns a blind eye while parents know better and refuse to accept this injustice. As parents we reached out and we requested help. We believed the GA Department of Education had an obligation to take our complaint seriously, even the Running County Sherriff's Department, Running county superintendent, DeLaire High School principal someone was responsible to investigate. Our concerns were simply brushed aside, all they noticed was our daughter's age, and it appears they refused to notice anythi

 Am I allowed to have an opinion? Of course I am! It takes beasts with cold hearts and very demonic souls to lure someone into their home, keep them away from their parents, adopt them and change their name. Yes, I think of them as beasts, hypocrites, cruel heartless. Only a beast could pull this off and show no empathy towards parents and deceive the world. When we found out Dara and Dean Colt had adopted our daughter and changed her name without our knowledge we were left bewildered. Our daughter never told us she did not like her name. She never mentioned she wanted another name. She never mentioned she didn't want us as her parents. She never mentioned she was out shopping for new parents for that matter. Please tell us when Dara and Duane Colt bothered to reach out to us? Tried to reunite us with our daughter? Showed us an ounce of compassion an ounce of sympathy? It never happened, Instead they only saw opportunity, an opportunity to get what they want no matter who gets hurt

 Good Morning. What a beautiful day, it rained last night and the sun shines this morning. I thank God he has brought me one day closer to the day I will reunite with my daughter. I thank God for giving me life to live another day.  Sometimes when we are going through grief, we lose sight of God's wonderful creation. He created this world for us. We let doubt and fear creep in our hearts and minds. We have to believe and trust him. We can follow the darkness or we can follow the light. We can be hopeless or we can be hopeful.  The devil sent lost souls to come to my Facebook page to curse at me, use their middle finger, laugh at me, tell me what a horrible mother I must be. They tell me how it is my fault she is gone. They try to bring me down.   I lost count of the middle fingers I have deleted, but you can see the laughs for yourself. I am astonished at the amount of people that find it funny we are apart from our daughter. The amount of people taking the time to laugh and insult

  The mockery and insults continue. People will go out of their way to try to hurt you. The list has grown. I have deleted and blocked about 60 people from my Facebook page so far.  I tried to kindly tell them if there was nothing for them to see please move along. Still they return to comment with a middle finger, or laugh at me and others.  They can try al they want to bring me down. Please pray for their lost souls,  they may not realize the wickedness they allowed into their cold hearts. I am human, and I am not perfect, but I do pray for guidance. I know the world is wicked and cruel. I can only do my best. Right now the best I can do is pray for the wicked, even if it appears they are not deserving.
